Most of us live our lives on a schedule of sorts. We know what to expect and when things are coming up. If we don’t set out the trash on trash day, it won’t get picked up. If we don’t pay the electric bill at the first of the month, our lights aren’t going to come on when we flip the switch.
Even the most free spirited individuals have some type of schedule they have to keep, whether self-inflicted or outside influenced.
So I’m going to try to schedule my blog.
Things have been crazy since moving to Texas and I haven’t gotten into a rhythm yet when it comes to blogging, so I’m going to start that rhythm myself.
My plan is to blog about Ministry on Monday, Writing on Wednesday, and Family on Friday (see what I did there?).
That way, my faithful blog readers (all 3 of you) will know what’s going on and when to expect something from me.
It will also stretch me to write more, which is the goal of having this blog.
Last, it will keep me focused on three topics, rather than just be all over the place.
So there you have it. Today was writing Wednesday and that’s what I wrote about. Do you have a schedule on your blog? What’s it look like? Do you expect those who blog to keep one? Why or why not?
